  • Goose,Canada, probably parvipes species 2013.4.25#215. First spring birds on a rest stop near Palmer Alaska.
  • Goose, Canada 2006.4.23#0036, Cackling, maybe a sbsp's minima as it was very small. These odd pale color phase geese seemed to show up more regularly in the Anchorage area until a few years ago. The first one I photographed was in 1999, although I had seen them a few years before that. I then saw them almost every year until 2009. Spenard Crossing, Anchorage Alaska.
