It was the 7th blooming one I'd found at this location, that's two more then I had found in total the previous five years I've lived here in AZ. I wish I could have stayed and shot the progression of it. I wanted to make the most of the day exploring more. I ended up finding two more locations with blooming Mariposa's. One that numbered over 150 blooming plants. Yavapai County Arizona.
