CRICKETS, GRASSHOPPERS, MANTIS-Walking Stick 2019.11.13#3048.2. Diapheromera species probably but I need to do more research. Most surely a female no matter what the species as this one had a body almost 5 inches long. A common insect but uncommonly seen in the southwest as they feed mostly in the canapy of oaks and other trees. This one may have been out looking for a mate.
