SD-2008.6.9#009. A Ewe and newborn lamb make thier way along the cliffs near Windy Point, Turnagain Arm Alaska.

  • SD-2000.5#20-A Dall Ram crossing a high ridge. Denali Park, Alaska. Scanned and repaired from old film stock.
  • SD-2001.1#7b9. A famous old Dall ram familiar to many folks in the North Country. He was referred to as One-eye. He lived in the steep cliffs along Turnagain Arm south of Anchorage Alaska. I had the good fortune to spend many days with him all by myself. No one really knows how he lost his right eye, but it could have happened banging heads with another ram. He certainly looks like an alpha male. Scanned and repaired from old film stock.
  • SD-2001.4.5#8-The heavy full curl Dall ram referred to as 1-Eye. High on the hills above Turnagain Arm, Chugach mountains, Alaska. Scanned and repaired from old film stock.
  • SD-2001.5.30#401-A really heavy horned Dall ram. Chugach mountains Alaska. Scanned from old film stock.
  • SD-2003.6.2#5b4. I spent about three hours with this Dall ram engulfed in clouds with the rain and this was the only image I got with a faint blue background. On the top of a ridge in Denali Park Alaska. Scanned and salvaged from old film stock. I also got to photograph a ewe giving birth this day.
  • SD-2005.5.14#0095-A large mature broomed off Dall ram in the spring high in the hills. Denali Park Alaska.
  • SD-2005.5.14#0144-A young Dall sheep ram chewing his cud and resting in the high alpine. Denali Park Alaska.
  • SD-2005.11.25#0056.6. A really nice Dall Ram tending a Ewe in the cliffs along Turnagain Arm, south of Anchorage Alaska. A redo of my originally developed image.
  • SD-2005.11.26#0056.6. Same two sheep in the previous image. I always wanted to show a crop with a little more geography of this event.
  • SD-2006.9.3#0102.6. I was on top east side of Savage Canyon heading for Mount Margaret when I spied this Ewe sheep half way across Primrose Ridge coming straight towards me. I didn't want to move and there was no where to hide so I just hunkered down. She kept coming and coming passing by at 15 meters giving me this casual glance and dropping into Savage Canyon. Denali Park Alaska.
  • SD-2006.9.28#0064.6. A Dall Sheep Ewe and Lamb are roaming the wooded cliffs above Turnagain Arm south of Anchorage Alaska.
  • SD-2006.10.13#0070-A Ewe with yearling lambs feeding on willow leaves in the setting sun. Turnagain Arm Alaska.
  • SD-2007.9.1#048.6. An old Dall ram that was a favorite of mine. Savage Canyon, Denali Park Alaska.
  • SD-2007.9.1#200-Alaska Dall ram. Many people were unbelieving that Dall Sheep would browse on Mountain Alders and Shrub Birch for a long time. It happens only after a couple of hard freezes occur killing the toxins in the plant. Pretty good evidence of him doing that. Denali Park Alaska.
  • SD-2007.9.1. A Dall ram I was familiar with for several years but this was the last time I saw him. Denali Park Alaska.
  • SD-2007.12.17#009.4. These two young Dall sheep ewes look out of place on this "Goaty" looking cliff. Turnagain Arm, Alaska.
  • SD-2007.12.19#033.5. A big Dall Ram tending a Ewe above Turnagain Arm south of Anchorage Alaska.
  • SD-2008.6.9#009. A Ewe and newborn lamb make thier way along the cliffs near Windy Point, Turnagain Arm Alaska.
  • SD-2008.6.15#065-A nice Dall ram on a dark overcast day grazing on new grass and Sedge. Denali Park Alaska.
  • SD-2008.6.15#082-A Dall sheep ram on a dark stormy day. Note how the color has washed from his horns after extended periods of rain this year. Denali Park Alaska.
