  • SD-2001.1#7b9. A famous old Dall ram familiar to many folks in the North Country. He was referred to as One-eye. He lived in the steep cliffs along Turnagain Arm south of Anchorage Alaska. I had the good fortune to spend many days with him all by myself. No one really knows how he lost his right eye, but it could have happened banging heads with another ram. He certainly looks like an alpha male. Scanned and repaired from old film stock.

  • SD-2006.9.3#0102.6. I was on top east side of Savage Canyon heading for Mount Margaret when I spied this Ewe sheep half way across Primrose Ridge coming straight towards me. Denali Park Alaska.
