  • M-2002.12.27#42. Alaska Moose. A bull with antlers like this is called a "Peruke". The antlers never harden and are in velvet it's whole life. This is one of two such animals that lived in Anchorage at the same time. I captured this image a couple days after Xmas in Conners Bog near our home 2002.
