  • E-1985.3.4#. A Rocky Mountain bull Elk is still calling in early march on the National Bison Range, near Charlo, Montana. My buddy Rick Ullery and I were driving back to Alaska from the Sheep convention in Reno NV. Scanned and repaired from old film stock. This bull was poached shortly after this. When his antlers were recovered they were cast and used for a L/S mount by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
