The Images in this gallery are in random order, they represent some of the best that you can see many more of in the main body of Galleries.
Several months ago I had to upgrade my Graphics Card and Computer Screen. It made me aware of images I posted in too big of a hurry and others that I could develop better. I'm slowly going through this gallery first and trying to upgrade as many as possible.

A nice mature Dall ram 2008.9.5#132.7. Resting and chewing his cud on a high ridge in Denali Park, Alaska.

  • I was actually climbing and hunting wildflowers when I started out this day. 2008.6.15#065.8X. I ended up shooting about 800 images of these rams. This is an upgraded development with new computer equipment and screen. I shot this image with a 60mm macro lens. All of these sheep appeared like they were bleached and many had much of the color washed off their horns from the weeks of hard rain before this. Denali, Alaska.
  • I started out this day climbing to hunt wildflowers. 2008.6.15#065.12. That changed when I encountered a group of 15 rams. I had a really great day shooting about 800 images. It was tough exposing these bleached out sheep in the dark overcast of this day. After several hours they became accustomed to me and grazed very near. I shot this image with a 60mm macro lens.   • 2010.8.13#228.6X. This sow Brown Bear has got brave and brought her cubs up to Ender's Island to fish but a male bear has just come down from the Falls so she needs to be cautious. Alaska Peninsula, Alaska.
