  • Advertised as a Tyrannosaurus Rex track. 2019.6.17#017. The Moenkopi Sandstone formation that contain these tracks are 193 million to 210 million years old. T-rex didn't appear on the earth till about 65 million years ago. This site and all of these tracks at this site are sensational!! They are all from carnivorous dinosaurs. None could possibly be T-rex though. A possibility might be Dilophosaurus wetherilli, a large dinosaur like the one in Jurassic Park but from the early jurassic, not the late jurassic. Moenkopi Sandstone formation, near Tuba City, Arizona. By all means , if you are in this area visit this site and donate to the local person that will walk you through the tracks. It is very interesting.
