  • Columbian Mammoth 2014.5.14#131.3. This 10.000 to 15,000 year old Mammoth skeleton is recreated from casts of  bones discovered in Tolo Lake not far from here. Grangeville Idaho. Archaeologists found skeletons from what they estimate could be 200 different Mammoths at this site.

  • 2009.9.16#117.3. It was believed for a long time Sheep and moose wouldn't browse on Mountain Alders and Shrub Birch because of their toxicity. But in more recent times biologists have discovered that a couple of good freezing nights will reduce the toxicity and they will feed on them. This image is pretty good evidence of that.
