  • Walking Stick 2019.11.13#3048.2. Probably a Diapheromera species but I need to do more research. A female no matter what the species as the body was about five inches long. A common insect but uncommonly seen in the southwest as they feed mostly in the canopy of oaks and other trees. This one may have been out looking for a mate. Tuzigoot Ruins, Yavapai County Arizona.
