  • The strangest Barrel Cactus I've ever seen. 2020.3.29#9566.5. It looks like a Many-headed Barrel growing on top of a Ferocactus. Oatman Highway about ten miles south west of Kingman Arizona. If anyone can offer an explanation how this occurred please email me at the address on my home page.

  • Pronghorn Antelope doe with her two fawns 2020.4.30. Seems to be a real good year with a lot of fawn sightings. Yavapai County Arizona.
  • A Lion's Mane Jellyfish. 1983.10#52.6. Cyanea capillata. This is the largest species of Jellyfish in the world. This one featured here was about 5 to 6 feet in diameter. I've had this image for 37 years and didn't appreciate what I saw until I recently researched it. These aren't poisonous but can sting you with it's tentacles. It won't attack you but if you accidentally swim into one it will cause a serious allergic reaction that requires medical attention. On a beach north of Cold Bay, Alaska Peninsula Alaska.
