  • A bull moose I knew for a number of years. 2010.9.3#133.3X. Not a giant but for sure 65 inches or so and beautiful symmetry with the big palmated brows. This moose was more shy then a lot of the Denali moose so harder to get him in the open in good light. Near mile seven in Denali Nat. Park Alaska.
  • A wide view of the Super Moon rising just as the sun set. 2020.2.8#5444.2. Willow Lake Dells near Prescott Arizona.

  • The Ajo Lilly 2020.3.5#7570.4X. Hesperocallis undulata. A plant that doesn't show itself without deep soaking rains through the winter and spring. Near the Mohawk Dunes south of Tacna Arizona.
  • The Silver Cholla 2020.3.5#7612.3. Cylindropuntia eschinocarpa. The only one I found in the Mohawk Sand Dunes when I was shooting Ajo Lilly's. I was told it was the first in a few years the Lilly's appeared as good as they were. This Cholla had four flowers but most of it was brown and dead. This is obviously a harsh environment even for these plants that have evolved and adapted to living here for a long time. Mohawk Sand Dunes, south of Tacna Arizona.
