  • A Dall Ram has come down off the Healy Range to cross the Savage River and climb the Savage Canyon to Primrose Ridge. The dull light and contrast have tortured me trying to develop this series of images for six years now. I've learned a few new techniques and am redeveloping some of these image's. 2017.8.30#259.5. Savage Canyon, Denali Park, Alaska. I wouldn't have spent so much time redeveloping these images but this was my last time at Denali as I was Driving my truck down to our new home in Arizona.

  • A really outstanding bull moose. 2014.9.2#327.6. I first saw this bull in full velvet start rubbing brush soon after sun up this day. He wouldn't leave this cow so he got interrupted a lot. It's 7:30 in the evening now and just about cleaned off. Savage Country, Denali Park, Alaska.
