  • The first Northern Arizona Flowers this year. 2023.2.18#4698.3. Yellow Cups (Camissonia brevipes). Kingman Wash, near Hoover Dam.
  • 1997.5.16#5670.6. An old analog image I came across and scanned from a 4x6 photo. I thought it was all scratched at first but then realized it was sheep hair in the air. These two rams postured and pushed each other around for quite a long time. The big ram would allow the younger one to butt heads with him. I guess to teach him how it would be when he grew up and it was for real! Savage Canyon, Denali Alaska.

  • A really special Rocky Mountain Bighorn ram. 2015.5.17#1318.4. This is an upgraded development that I first did in the summer of 2015. I recently upgraded my Graphics card and replaced my old screen. And updated internal equipment.
  • Another really special Rocky Mountain Bighorn ram. 2015.5.17#1119.4. Like the previous image, redeveloped with new equipment.
  • I was actually climbing and hunting wildflowers when I started out this day. 2008.6.15#065.8X. I ended up shooting about 800 images of these rams. This is an upgraded development with new computer equipment and screen. I shot this image with a 60mm macro lens. All of these sheep appeared like they were bleached and many had much of the color washed off their horns from the weeks of hard rain before this. Denali, Alaska.

  • A male American Robin 2023.1.6#4240.3. This winter has been the largest influx of Robins in Prescott Valley since we moved here six years ago. They are really feeding heavily on juniper berries. Arizona.
  • A mature Yellow-rump Audabons Warbler 2023.2.8#6751.7. Very early am on the dark side. Prescott Valley, Arizona.
